CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The Seventh International Conference, “Borderless World : Emerging Dimensions for Business” is scheduled to be held on January 2 - 5, 2006 at New Delhi, just one day after the execution of WTO agreement across the world on Jan 1, 2005. A large number of delegates from different parts of the world are expected to participate in this Conference. They include researchers and academicians, practicing managers, technical experts and consultants from countries such as USA, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, Honkong, Finland, Iran, Lebanon, Qatar and all states of India.

The delegates are advised to carry adequate woolen clothes as January in New Delhi is quiet cold. The minimum and maximum temperature ranges from 3° C to 20° C during the first fortnight of January.

International Symposium on Management Education
Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Professor K. K. Aggarwal nominated Dr. Ajay Kr. Singh, the Director of DSPSR as the Coordinator of BBA (Hons.) GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi, and desired to hold a symposium on Management Education. DSPSR being a lead Institution in the field of management education accepted the challenge and organized an International Symposium on "Management Education in the 20th Century: Lessons for the 21st Century" on January 8, 2001, at Hamdard Convention Centre, Hamdard University, New Delhi, in collaboration with JIMS.
International Seminar
The First International Seminar on "Safety and Health Culture through Training and Development in the Construction Industry" was organized on January 8, 2001, at Jamia Hamdard Convention Center, New Delhi. The Inaugural address was given by Shri Muni Lal, I.A.S., Hon'ble Minister of State for Labour, Government of India. Dr. Syed M. Ahmed, Associate Professor, Department of Construction Management, Florida International University, USA, was the Key note Speaker. Col. K. K. Chitkara, Executive Director, Institute of Construction Project Management, Gurgaon, Shri P. C. Chatterjee, Chief Executive - Group Personnel, DLF Industries Ltd., New Delhi & Shri R. K. Sharma, General Manager, Punj Lloyd Ltd. were the Key Speakers.
The Second International Seminar on "IT Education in the Non Formal Sector: Challenges and Quality Perspectives" was organized on January 9, 2002, at Main Auditorium, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa Road, New Delhi. Hon'ble Dr. Narander Nath, former Minister of Education, Government of N.C.T. of Delhi, Delhi. was the Chief Guest, Professor P. S. Grover, Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi, Delhi, Member - Governing Council, DOEACC, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi, delivered the Presidential Address and Dr. Kamal Taori, I.A.S., Adviser, Government of India, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi was the Key Note Speaker.
The Third International Seminar on "World Class Education" was organized on February 22, 2002, at D-30, NDSE, Part - I, New Delhi. Professor David Ross, CEO Indelta, Australia (a venture of University of Southern Queensland Australia), delivered the Key Note Address . The Seminar was chaired by Mr. Rajiv Kapoor , Director, SDI Technologies, Australia and INDELTA India.
Seminar jointly organized by Delhi Management Association , Luxor Parker and DSPSR A Seminar on "Best Manufacturing Practices " was organized by Delhi Management Association under Young Professional Forum in collaboration with Luxor Writing Instruments Ltd., and Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research, held in the Conference Hall at DSPSR on April 6, 2002. Shri Alok Nigam, Plant Head HR, Luxor Writing Instruments Ltd, ( 5 S); Shri Aman Atri, Plant Head HR, Luxor Writing Instruments Ltd. (Best Manufacturing Practices); Shri D. P. S. Chauhan, Deputy Manager (HR), Luxor Writing Instruments Ltd. ( Quality Circles) were the Key Speakers.
A Seminar on "Positive Attitude Building" was organized under the joint auspices of Delhi Management Association, Luxor Writing Instruments Ltd. and Delhi School of Professional Studies & Research (DSPSR) held in the Conference Hall at DSPSR at D-30, N.D.S.E. Part-1, New Delhi, on April 13, 2002. Mr. D. K. Bakshi, GM HR, Luxor Writing Instruments Ltd delivered the Key Note Address.
