| Description |
How
can you ensure a sustainable future for cultural heritage
in the 21st century? With the aid of leading UK experts,
this seminar will explore strategies for historic buildings
and archaeological sites, including:
advocacy, adaptive reuse, heritage protection and maintenance,
local and regional partnerships and regeneration and cultural
tourism.
The seminar will offer participants the opportunities
to share information, knowledge and experience from their
own countries; building and developing networks internationally
and with UK partners. It will be based in the historic
city of Bath, a World Heritage Site since 1987, and study
visits will be made to sites around Bath, industrial archaeology
sites in South Wales and urban regeneration sites in Bristol.
