Hydrocarbon
Resource Management for The Canadian Petroleum Industry
This two-day course
is designed to provide an improved understanding of the
processes underlying petroleum resource assessments. SEC,
Canadian (NI 51-101), and SPE reserve and resource classification
guidelines are examined and compared; extensions and modifications
that better support both internal portfolio management
and regulatory reserves disclosures are discussed. Fundamental
deterministic and probabilistic assessment approaches
are reviewed; class exercises are used to demonstrate
integrated methodologies that provide improved quality
assurance. A complete set of course materials and lunches
are included.
