The ICDCIT conference series, established by KIIT Deemed University, Bhubaneswar, India, since 2004 has provided a prestigious international forum for the discussion and the exchange of ideas among the researchers working in the areas of Networking, Distributed Programming, Distributed Data Management and Internet Technology. The proceedings of the past two conference meetings were published under the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS vol. 3347 and LNCS vol. 3816) by Springer-Verlag. ICDCIT 2005 attracted over 450 submissions with an acceptance rate of 15-18%.

ICDCIT 2006, the 3rd annual meeting of the conference series, will be held during December 20-23, 2006 at KIIT in Bhubaneswar, India. The authors are requested to follow the call for papers link from conference URL: http://www.kiit.org/icdcit/ to get the scopes of major conference themes. All submissions will be subjected to technical reviews by three area experts. The authors can upload their contributions via author's gateway accessible also from conference URL on or before the submission deadline. All accepted papers and the abstracts of keynote/invited talks will appear in the proceedings. The proceedings is likely to be published as a volume of Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series as those of the previous two conferences.
