When the
FDA implemented the 2002 Bioterrorism Act, the entire
food industry was required to prioritize improvements
within their organizations to effect proper controls and
management of their food safety programs and the management
of their physical facilities. Recognizing that the food
industry is increasingly reactive in nature, this program
highlights the need for the industry to adapt to the changing
times, as the possibility of new methods of infiltration
and threats will arise with the evolution of new technologies.
