India is
the largest producer and consumer of pulses in the world.
But Pulses Industry is widely scattered and largely unorganized,
we took initiative in 2004 to bring the industry together
on a single platform in order to address all emerging
issues and challenges related to the industry. We successfully
conducted the "1st National Conference on Pulses
and Related Industries" on July 18, 2004. The Conference
was the first of its kind in India and provided the single
largest platform to bring together participants from the
pulses industry. The Conference was also the start of
a trend-setting yearly routine, with considerable contribution
towards industrial interactions. We held the "2nd
Conference on Pulses and Related Industries" on August
21st 2005, which again was a grand success.
Trade scenario
is changing rapidly in India. Once incomprehensible to
the people outside pulses industry, this business is getting
more transparent in changing scenario. Increased transparency
in this business has pulled new class of investors and
new set of challenges and issues for pulses industry.
To address
all new set of issues and continuing yearly routine of
the industry, we are pleased to announce, '3rd National
Conference on Pulses & Related Industries' on September
16, 2006 at hotel Ashok, New Delhi.
