GAIA is the name of the international student congress series organized by Boðaziçi University Management and Economics Club. The first congress was held in 1992 with the partnership of Chiasmus Youth Committee. Between the years 1998 - 2001 the organizations were named as Bosphorus Series. After 2003 the congress series took the name GAIA.

Each year students from all over the world gather in the Boðaziçi University campus. GAIA provides its participants with an experience of a one week journey through the chosen topic of the year. On this certain topic prominent business people and academicians from the whole world deliver lectures as well as interesting cases and workshops about the topic. Participants, also have the chance to enjoy the city throughout the GAIA week.
